Belinda J. Mitchell- Executive Director

Belinda has been with the Saliba Center for Families for over 17 years as Center Director and
in the Fall of 2016 took on her new role as Executive Director.
She enjoys working for the Saliba Center, because it is her sincere
desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Belinda loves to be able to
see the lives of her families change daily. When she was nine years old Belinda decided to
become a social worker, and the Saliba Center was the perfect program to help fulfill her

Linda O’Connell-Center Director

Linda has been at the Saliba Center for Families since its doors opened in 1994 and
has transitioned to Center Director for the Main Street location after 20+ years as
Executive Director. Working at the Saliba Center has been one of Linda’s greatest joys.
She loves to see the consumers lives change,and enjoys working with the dedicated staff
and board members. Linda could not think of a better place to work, and finds herself
lucky to be able to implement the vision of Alfred Saliba and the founding board members.
She has her Masters in Adult Education, Counseling and Supervision and Administration.

William Block, Social Worker, LCSW Intake Department

William has been with the Saliba Center for Families since 2001and currently works as a
Social Worker in the Intake Department. William loves the idea of having a place where
people in the Wiregass can come and find a free service to fit their needs. He knows the
Saliba Center has come a long way since it first planted its roots, and he still takes pride
in working with such a great group of professionals.

Dorothy Harris- ERSEA Coordinator, Early Head Start Program

Dorothy Harris is the ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance) Coordinator for ASFSC Early Head Start. She has been employed with this organization for 8 years.  She enjoys Early Head Start because the program was designed to provide free services and support to needed families in the community, and helping people is what  Dorothy enjoys most.  She also likes having the flexibility to work in more than one area of the program.

Debbie Geiger- Lafayette Site Office Manager/ Parent Project

Rena Miller-Education Coordinator, Early Head Start Center

Rena is the Education Coordinator for the Early Head Start Center. She loves having
a job that gives her the opportunity to give back to the community. Rena knows it’s
a privilege to be involved with an organization that puts others first, and she hopes
everyone has a chance to be part of a team where the goal is to improve the lives of

Collins Trott- Program Coordinator, HIPPY

Collins Trott serves as coordinator of Alfred Saliba Family Service Center’s HIPPY program. Collins has over 12 years of experience working in education and eight of those years as a professional educator with children as well as adults. Collins holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education focusing on reading and early literacy. She is board certified in Alabama and Georgia. HIPPY’s goal is to increase early literacy and school readiness and her expertise in education will prove to be a valuable asset as the HIPPY program and all ASFSC programs strive to increase their impact in Dothan and surrounding communities.

Ashley Wolfe- Facilities Manager & Mixson Business Center (Incubator) Manager

 At the Saliba Center, Ashely handles all property and tenant related issues, as well as, day-to-day operations and promotions of the Mixson Business Center. She hopes to continue to help in the growth of the Saliba Center, as well as, work on her personal and professional development.

Sherri Williams-Services Coordinator, Early Head Start Program

Sherri joined the Saliba Center for Families in 2002, and currently is the Services
Coordinator for the Early Head Start Program. She is thankful to have the opportunity
to be part of an organization empowering people to establish and accomplish goals for
themselves and their families.
